BOYS

Spikes allowed- 1/4 inch or less PYRAMID spikes
All field events: 3 trials with 3 additional trials to top 9 (all 6 trials count)
All schools one team per relay event
Seeded heat to be run last.
12 competitors in seeded heat of 1600 & 3200. 800m to be run as 3 heats of 8, one
turn stagger.
Eight fastest times advance to final in 100m HH, 100m Dash
3-turn stagger to be used in 4x400m
When arriving at Danbury High School, please direct your bus to the lower parking lot at the south-east end of the building near the gym.

11.6 (100m), 24.1 (200m), 53.8 (400m), 2:06.5 (800m), 4:44.0 (1600m), 10:30.0 (3200m), 17:10.0 or 3200 standards (5,000m), 17.0 (110mHH), 43.5 (300m IH)
19'6" (LJ), 5'8" (HJ), 10'6" (PV), 39' 0" (TJ), 42' (SP), 120' (DT), 145' (JT)

Entries at or better than the standard are automatic entries.
The field in each event will be filled to 24 entries if the automatic entries indicate less than 24 competitors per event.

FOR BOTH MEETS

Individual entries
An athlete may compete in a maximum of three events
If an athlete is entered in three individual events, he/she may not compete in a relay
If an athlete is entered in two individual events, he/she may compete in one relay if listed for that relay
If an athlete is entered in one individual event, he/she may compete in two relays if listed for those two relays
If an athlete is entered in no individual events, she may compete in three relays if listed for those three relays
Scratching an individual event does not make an athlete eligible for an additional relay
An athlete is considered to have entered an event when entries are submitted

* All competitors in the Pole Vault must have their weights certified by their school nurse and present a signed copy of the CIAC Pole Vault Weight Certification Form to the Meet Referee. Athletes will not be allowed to use poles rated under their weight or with the weight rating obscured.

NO SEEDING MEETING!
All entries must be submitted online using HyTek Team Manager (all coaches should have a CD with this program - if you do not call 838-2748). Complete instructions for entering will are posted at:

Coaches Seeding Information/Instructions

All seed times must have been met in a bona fide competition and submitted by 6 p.m., Thursday, May 18. Seeding will be done Friday evening and posted online by Saturday morning.

It is absolutely essential that your athletes have met the standards and you can prove it. Questionable or unreported marks may be deemed unacceptable by the seeding committee and you or your athletes may not be informed of rejection or an adjusted seed time until the day of the championship.

Please be aware of the rule prohibiting the wearing of any jewelery. It is the coach's responsibility to make sure that their athletes conform to this rule.
